This fresh canvas from a prominent Toronto collection, is a gem from 1986, a period in which Bolduc was thinking of both Matisse and colour-field painting. David Bolduc is best known for his colourful abstract paintings that focused on linear images painted over a wide variety of textured coloured backgrounds.
